MINUTES OF GENERAL MEETING 6/27/2011

ORANGE AVE. SOUTH LIBRARY ROOM “B”

Call to order at 6:20PM with approximately 20 attendees

1. Motion to approve minutes of April and May general meeting minutes made by Richard, 2^nd by Earl, approved.

2. Presentation sponsored by South Bay Community Services SANDAG Representative, Allyssa. Also in attendance for questions was Ed Batchelder from Chula Vista planning and building and a traffic engineer. Information was in regard to the Sandag 2050 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) This plan is projected to cost up to 110 Billion Dollars.

3. The Southwest area of Chula Vista will be impacted by: The BRT from Eastern Chula Vista to the new Palomar Street Bridge connecting to new HOV lanes on 805.

4. Grade separation projects along the Blue Line Trolley (adjacent to Frwy 5) involving Palomar, “H” and “E” Streets.

5. New transit center on 805 at “H” Street. Accessible by stairs and elevator from the overpass.

7. Comment periods end on July 28 and August 1, 2011
