Call to order by Theresa at 6:38 p.m.
2.
Roll call: Theresa, Bettie, David, Earl, Jim, Doc. Not present:
Guillermo, Derrick, Rick, Ed, Carolyn.
3.
Approval of minutes of 2/18 board meeting. Motion to approve by Bettie,
2nd by Jim, passed.
4.
Old business :
A. Pride Works project at 256
Tremont: Motion to spend up to $250.00 to start prep work made by Earl, 2nd
by Bettie, passed.
B. Community garden discussion
about how to proceed in Southwest, refer to members at meeting 3/27
C. City of Chula Vista reply to
presiding members proposed decision re: CVEUP. Zoning ordinance of
“unclassified use” discussed.
D. Membership drive to be
continued

New business:
A. Monday 3/23 general meeting
topics: Is a translator necessary? Flier to
Advertise presentation by police and IPS on subject
“What you can do to feel safer in your home” Also will discuss current topics
like MMC, volunteers, garden.
B. April general meeting to
include presentation by Martin Learn? Solar
Electric with Michael Meacham not confirmed.
C. Fourth Monday in May falls on
holiday will refer to membership decision
