Annual Meeting of board of SWCVCA

January 28, 2008

1. Olga Durazo, secretary and Marica Morris Treasure left due to illness.

2. Results of elections: Slate of eleven was voted on to the board; Olga and Karen agreed to stay on until bylaws could be amended or someone else volunteered.

3. Theresa Acerro, Doc Howard, Kenn Colclascure, Earl Jentz, Bettie Lupi, Norberto Salazar, Hugo Salazar, Karen Ratliff, and Derrick Dudley were present for the board meeting.

4. Theresa moved that Marcia Morris be Treasurer, seconded by Bettie, approved by all.

5. Olga was nominated for secretary by Bettie and Derrick seconded the nomination, approved by all after Bettie said she understood that Olga agreed she would be the secretary if she could take a few months off. (After checking with Olga, she said she needed to take off the entire year. We need to fill the position of secretary at our next meeting.)

6. Derrick nominated Theresa Acerro as president, seconded by Norberto, approved by all.

7. Norberto moved that the proposed 2008 budget be adopted, Derrick seconded the motion, unanimous approval.

8. Copies of Conflict of Interest Policy were passed around for people to sign. After reading the document again it seems it is necessary to sign a statement affirming certain points. Statement will be available for signing at next meeting.

9. Karen expressed dissatisfaction with disorganization and noise at meetings Earl volunteered his office as a quite place.

10. Meeting was adjourned until Wednesday 2/5 at 6:30PM at Earl's office, Balboa Realty on Third at corner of G St.
