SOUTHWEST CHULA VISTA CIVIC ASSOCIATION

Board Meeting

May 16, 2007

1. Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Theresa Acerro at 7:30 p.m.

2. Roll Call: Board members present were: Theresa Acerro, Penny Bollinger, Olga Durazo, Jim Hunt, Earl Jentz, Bettie Lupi, Marcia Morris, Steve Palma, Karen Ratliff, and Norberto Salazar. Members absent were: Ester Arguello, Guillermo Briseno, and Ken Colcasure.

3. Action: Theresa presented a Conflict of Interest Policy. Theresa motioned to adopt the Conflict of Interest Policy. Seconded by Norberto Salazar. Motion passed 9-1.

4. There was discussion about Steve Palma’s concern regarding the Conflict of Interest Policy, specifically compensation. It was suggested that Ned Ardagna, the organization’s attorney, be contacted to clarify any questions concerning the afore mentioned policy.

5. Adjournment: Marcia Morris Motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Betti Lupi. Motion passed.
